Karyl A. Davis focuses on representing employees in all aspects of employment law, including claims of race, gender, age, and disability discrimination, as well as overtime claims, sexual harassment, and retaliation. Before joining Buckley & Klein, Karyl litigated cases on behalf of low–income individuals at the Atlanta Legal Aid Society and at Hunton & Williams as the firm's Atlanta Pro Bono Fellow.

Karyl is a 2005 graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law where she was an editor of the Law Review, a Public Interest Board Member, a Dean's Scholar, and upon graduation received the Dean's Community Service Award and the James E. Morrisette Constitutional Law Award. Prior to going to law school, Karyl was Coordinator of Student Life Programs at the Women's Resource Center at the University of Alabama. She also worked in the publishing industry on communication and criminal justice textbooks after graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carson–Newman College in English and Communication Studies and summa cum laude with a Master of Arts degree from the University of Alabama in Communication Studies. In addition to volunteering with the One Child One Lawyer Program, for which she received the 2008 One Child One Lawyer Volunteer of the Year Award, Karyl currently serves as a Board Member for the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers Foundation and as Co–Chair of the GAWL Foundation Communications Committee.

When not practicing law, Karyl enjoys going to neighborhood festivals, the theater, Falcons football games, and spending time with her family and friends.
